enceThe scars of the battle that I had won, shone brightly
Revealing a thousand stories,
Deep down my breath slowed and heart paced,
Is it worth telling, I wondered….
The querying eyes around, boring deep into me,
Why does it even bother them?
The ones who meekly said ‘NO’…
When I was on the verge of losing it all ?
I sipped in my coffee…..
Do they really expect answers, I again questioned myself?
Apologies disguised as answers was what they wanted,
Aaah! Those raised eyebrows, that were enough to ask a million questions….
Questions that never arose at the correct time,
Questions that lead me doubt my own existence,
The judgemental bricks that they threw at me,
Without even putting an effort to seek the truth?
Wasn’t that an easy path to tread along?
I finished my coffee & stood up,
Gazed at them for the one last time,
Happy they seemed in their own fancy little bubble…..
The stagnancy didn’t seem to bother them,
I walked past them, as trees whizz past moving cars,
Leaving them all behind
For they neither deserved my questions nor my answers,
For my scars were my own & my battles my own,
The precious little mosaic that I held close to my heart…..

Behind the fake smiLE

BEIng hidden,

Behind the Royal wear

BEIng hidden,

Behind the golden watch

BEIng hidden,

Behind the demarcations of destiny!

BEIng hidden,

Behind the big royal gates

BEIng hidden was her dreams, her choices, HERself….

BEIng hidden becomes Being HEr,

EScape was futile,

The only path was to BEIng hidden…

Political tamasha has become the order of the day making it a part and parcel of our daily lives. One of the political tamasha began with throwing of shoes at ex president USA Mr Bush in Iraq. Later on throwing of shoes or chappals continued in India also. Our ex home minister P.Chidambaram, opposition leader LK Advani and Mr Jindal MP from Haryana were thrown shoes or chappals at their meetings. In assembly and Parliament political parties exchange shoes, broke furnitures ,rushed into well of the house shouting slogans against the rulling party and damaged the mikes of the speaker of the house. This shouting brigade disrupts constructive debate. In spite of repeated requests of the speaker the Parliament witnessed recently the placard of the opposition. Media and journalists who believe in yellow journalism often exaggerated. Political leaders made U turn after fired upon by their bosses. Nowadays for inflammatory speech by the political fraternity is responsible for the communal riots. To make their presence felt often political leaders gave irresponsible remarks destabilizing the society and creating disharmony among the people. Political leaders often in their election manifesto make big, false and impractical promises to attract voters. After election the same politicians forget it. Nowadays through paid news the politicians like to spread agenda of the party. Some political leaders in the name of greeting their national leader publish their own photo along with the national leaders. Politicians behave in a schizophrenic manner when they preach non violence but on the other hand they instigate their follower to terrorise people during bandh /strike. Politicians have made it a family affair to fight election. They have restricted tickets to the kith and kin. Indian youths refrain from joining politics. Instead of  cleansing the system the India youths are running away from the political arena. They should not run away. After all the destiny of the nation is decided by the politicians.

thats the whole idea of thewhitetriangle

triangle final

Like the image says it all, we clearly see three black circles but there is no white triangle, still we can see it! Our eyes tend to ignore gaps and perceive the contour lines. The non-existed triangle captures the focus of our eyes making us visualize it as the one single image. This is an optical illusion, commonly called the kanizsa triangle.

From dusk to dawn, we witness the usual chaos/madness of life, be it in metro, college, office or even at traffic signals. Our eyes really do tiresome visual work, be it playing games or watching youtube videos they always keep perceiving matter which might exist or not like the triangle above.

But just take a deep breath and look around!

Our surroundings, our life’s – everything is soaked in stories from news to any wierd or funny incidences happening. We humans are great storytellers! We share stories- good or bad through film, newspaper, blog, documentary, vocal communication but do we ever try to fill the voids, connect the dots in the stories we watch or listen?

Do we ever try to recreate these stories by filling the voids in between, looking at them from a different perspective?

Look beyond the seen, stories can be created anywhere!

Also, the kanizsa triangle not only tells us to put forward a perception beyond the voids but also taking something concrete from things which might not exist for one but exist for someone else

That’s the whole world is running, PERCEPTION- the key thing making us different, distinct from each other. We are the captives of our own perceptions. for say- if to be doctor is a big thing for me, it might not for you!

That’s the whole idea of thewhitetriangle.

thewhitetriangle is a collective initiative to support constructive criticism. Analogous to the three edges of triangle, we are team of three people who believes that criticism acts as mirror for introspection. We shun immoral activities and encourage help to the needy.
